I am in full agreement with you on those east coast Feb. shows,I caught a bunch of those and for me that was Jerry at his peak with the JGB.He was particularly sharp on the Dylan covers,the Positively 4th street from the Tower Theater show is just a monster,but he was consistently killing Masterpiece,Simple Twist and Tangled Up also.I caught the Hartford and Albany shows in July but they just didn't have the same edge or feel to them,they were good but lacking that certain something.I went on to see about 100 more JGB shows after those,mostly between 80'-85' and it never came close to being as good as that Feb. run.
